Fauxgrown Terms of Use

By creating an account or using Fauxgrown, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. Who can use Fauxgrown

You must be at least 13 years old. By creating an account you confirm that you are. Accounts for people under 13 are not allowed and will be removed.

2. The house rules (what you can't post)

Fauxgrown is a kind place. You may not post questions or replies that contain:

• Insults, name-calling, mockery, or put-downs aimed at a person or their question.
• Harassment, threats, bullying, or hate speech, including slurs or attacks on people for who they are.
• Sexual or sexually explicit content, or other content inappropriate for a general audience.
• Illegal activity, or content that encourages violence, self-harm, or dangerous behavior.
• Private information about other people (doxxing), or impersonation.
• Spam, scams, or advertising.

Some of this is blocked automatically by a word filter. The filter isn't perfect, so you are responsible for what you post.

3. Advice is not professional advice

Replies on Fauxgrown come from other community members, not licensed professionals. Repairs, electrical or gas work, cars, money, health, pets, and parenting all carry real risk. Use your own judgment, follow manufacturer instructions and local codes, and call a qualified professional or emergency services when in doubt. We don't guarantee that any reply is accurate or safe.

4. Your content

You own what you post. By posting, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store and display it in the app so the community can see it. You can delete your own questions and replies at any time, or delete your whole account.

5. Reporting, blocking, and moderation

You can report any reply you think breaks these rules, and you can block people so you no longer see their content. Reports are private. Our moderators may remove content, restrict an account from posting, or ban accounts that break these rules or repeatedly make the community unkind, with or without notice.

6. Your account

Keep your password private. You're responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete my account) or by following the steps on our deletion page.

7. Disclaimers and limits

Fauxgrown is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for damages arising from your use of the app or from advice you find in it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that can't be waived.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. If you keep using the app after an update, you accept the new version. We'll update the effective date above.
